Boiler Attendant (Waiouru)

Spotless Facility Supervisor

This is a full-time role for a hands-on and highly motivated qualified Boiler Attendant to join our full facilities team servicing the Waiouru Military Training Area and the National Army Museum.

The successful candidate will be required to perform monthly planned maintenance in line with the maintenance plan and reactive maintenance work as required and nominated. Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to do shift work.

The successful applicant must:

  • Proven experience in managing boilers and associated assets

  • Ability to work unsupervised

  • Strong understanding of health and safety requirements

  • Experience in planned preventative maintenance

  • Proven to establish and maintain positive relationships with peer and customers

  • Ability to analyse problems and implement effective solutions on a timely basis and have experience in a similar role

  • Be well organised and capable of multi-tasking

  • Have good communication skills

  • Have a clean and current driver’s license

  • Be self-managing and able to work effectively in a team as well individually
